The 2025-26 theater season in Jesolo offers a schedule of performances combining entertainment, wit, reflection, music, and dance, all organized in collaboration with Arteven. Among the events stands out 'The School for Husbands and Wives' by the Theama Teatro company: in this play, two men raise two young girls with the idea of marrying them in the future. While one wins his companion’s love by showing trust and giving her freedom, the other, too strict, sees her fall for a young suitor—reflecting on the universal themes of relationships between men and women. The performance weaves together Molière’s two comedies, The School for Husbands and The School for Wives, offering a contemporary interpretation of social themes and earning the 2025 Arteven Pierluca Donin Award.
Directed by Piergiorgio Piccoli, the play features on stage Paolo Rozzi, Anna Farinello, Aristide Genovese, Piergiorgio Piccoli, Gilda Pegoraro, and Anna Zago.
Season subscriptions for nine performances are available for €130 (full price) and €110 (reduced), with renewal from November 3 to 8, exchanges on November 10 and 11, and new purchases from November 12, online via Vivaticket or at the Jesolo Civic Library. Single tickets cost €20 (full) and €18 (reduced); the New Year’s concert €25 (full) and €20 (reduced); and the single ticket for Debora Villa & Friends €35. Presales begin on November 10 for off-season shows and November 13 for those included in the main season, both online and at Vivaticket sales points, the Civic Library, and Infinity Travel on Via Levantina until the day before the event. A presale fee applies.
Tickets are also available at Teatro Vivaldi on the night of the performance, starting one hour before showtime. Discounts apply to people up to 25 years old and over 60. The shows are designed for both residents and tourists. The event will be held at Teatro A. Vivaldi, Via del Bersagliere 1, Jesolo, on Friday, December 19, from 9:00 PM to 11:55 PM, with paid admission. Entry is not allowed once the performance has started; punctuality is recommended.
